Every installation includes an outlet and cord compatibility check, anti-tip bracket, leveling, rear-clearance review, and an oven test once the range is plugged in. Gas ranges, ovens and cooktops are Licensed Master Plumber work under Local Law 142 of 2025, and fitting a cord kit, hardwiring or any 240V work is done by a NYC Licensed Master Electrician.
We quote appliance installation on existing hookups across Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island. For the fastest estimate, text the appliance model number, a photo of the installation space, the existing valve, drain and outlet, and any building or COI requirements.
Range and oven installation is a good fit for slide-in, freestanding, and replacement electric units where the appliance must be leveled, secured, plugged in, and tested without damaging floors or cabinets.
We check opening width, anti-tip bracket placement, outlet and cord access, rear clearance, countertop height, and whether the unit sits flush without pinching the power cord.
Send the model number before the visit so we can confirm it is electric and that its cord matches your receptacle, and flag early anything a licensed trade has to do.

What May Cost Extra
Missing anti-tip parts, haul-away, cabinet or countertop adjustments, stair or elevator handling, and access delays are quoted separately. Cord kits, hardwiring, new outlets and any 240V work are done by a NYC Licensed Master Electrician; gas ranges by a NYC Licensed Master Plumber.
What Must Be Ready Before Arrival
Have the model, with its cord already fitted, and the required manufacturer parts on site, clear the delivery path, and make the existing outlet visible and accessible. Send building, elevator, and COI rules before scheduling.

How much does range installation cost?
Pricing depends on the range type, anti-tip bracket requirements, model fit and building rules; the calculator on this page shows each range. There is a $150 work minimum, and prices are plus NY sales tax where applicable.
Do you install gas ranges?
No. Under Local Law 142 of 2025, replacing or connecting a gas range, oven, stove or cooktop is Licensed Master Plumber work, so we do not take gas range jobs.
My range came without a cord. Can you fit it?
No. Fitting a cord kit to the terminal block, or any receptacle or 240V work, is done by a NYC Licensed Master Electrician. We install the range when its cord already matches the existing receptacle.
Do you install wall ovens?
Plug-in models on an existing receptacle, yes. Most wall ovens are hardwired, and a hardwired oven is declined on site: that connection is made by a NYC Licensed Master Electrician.
Do you install the anti-tip bracket?
Yes, when the floor or wall surface, model bracket, and access allow secure installation. Damaged flooring, missing hardware, or building restrictions are reviewed before final scope.
What should I send for a range or oven installation quote?
Send the appliance model number, delivery status, photos of the kitchen opening, the existing outlet and the range's plug, anti-tip bracket hardware, cabinet clearance, and any building or COI requirements.
