Need a dishwasher installed in your NYC kitchen? Every installation includes old unit removal (if applicable), the supply line from the existing valve, the drain hose to the existing drain with a high loop or air gap, plug-in to the existing outlet, and a full leak test. A hardwired dishwasher, a new outlet, and any new valve, drain or supply line are done by a NYC Licensed Master Electrician or Licensed Master Plumber.
We quote appliance installation on existing hookups across Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island. For the fastest estimate, text the appliance model number, a photo of the installation space, the existing valve, drain and outlet, and any building or COI requirements.
On site we check cabinet width, leveling feet, anti-tip brackets, drain routing, the water valve, and whether the outlet is reachable. The goal is a clean install that does not leak, rock, or leave the door rubbing against adjacent cabinets.
If the old dishwasher left water damage, swollen flooring, or a loose mounting surface, we flag it before installation so the repair can be handled correctly instead of hiding the problem behind the appliance.

Placement and leveling, secure mounting, connection to the existing exposed water valve and drain, plug-in to the existing outlet, then a leak and cycle test. Safe disconnect of an old plug-in unit is included when agreed during quote review.
What May Cost Extra
Haul-away, replacement hoses or adapters, cabinet or floor correction and difficult access are quoted separately. A hardwired connection, a new outlet, and any new valve, drain or supply line are done by a NYC Licensed Master Electrician or Licensed Master Plumber.
What Must Be Ready Before Arrival
Have the model delivered, the cabinet and under-sink area cleared, and the existing water valve, drain, and outlet accessible. Send building and COI rules before scheduling.

How much does dishwasher installation cost?

Can you install a dishwasher where there wasn't one before?
Only when the water valve, drain connection and outlet are already there. A new water supply line, valve, drain piping, outlet or circuit is done by a NYC Licensed Master Plumber or Licensed Master Electrician, and the install waits until it is in place.
What about a hardwired dishwasher?
A hardwired dishwasher is connected and disconnected by a NYC Licensed Master Electrician, so we install plug-in units on an existing outlet.
Do you remove the old dishwasher?
We can disconnect, pull out, and move an old plug-in unit when the existing setup is safe to disconnect. Haul-away or disposal is confirmed during quote review.
What should I send for a dishwasher installation quote?
Send the dishwasher model number, delivery status, photos of the cabinet opening, the old unit, the water valve under the sink, the drain connection, the outlet, the floor condition, and any building or COI requirements.
How long does installation take?
A standard swap on the existing hookup usually takes about 1-2 hours; panel-ready built-ins take longer.
