Every job is quoted and approved before work starts — no surprises. After a $99 assessment, a $150 job means you pay the $51 difference. Prices are plus NY sales tax where applicable.

How much does PTAC installation cost?
Pricing depends on unit size, sleeve condition, plug type, access, condensate path, and whether the existing outlet or circuit matches the unit. Send sleeve photos and the electrical label before booking.
Do you inspect the wall sleeve?
Yes. We check for rust, gaps, insulation condition, exterior grille fit, and drainage slope. Sleeve repair or replacement may require separate building approval depending on the scope.
Can you replace with a different brand?
Often, but compatibility must be verified. PTAC units can share common sleeve sizes, but adapter kits, grille fit, plug type, amperage, voltage, and condensate details still need review.
Do you do the electrical for a PTAC?
No. The replacement PTAC goes into the existing sleeve and plugs into the existing receptacle, so we compare the unit's plug, amperage and voltage with the outlet that is already there before booking. A new or changed receptacle, a new circuit and any other electrical work are done by a NYC Licensed Master Electrician.
What should I send for a PTAC installation quote?
Send the existing and replacement model numbers, sleeve dimensions and photos, electrical label, plug and outlet photos, exterior grille photo if safe, floor and access notes, condensate or drain details, and any building approval or COI requirements.
