The projector is out of the box and the ceiling is the part you don't want to guess at. Repair ASAP LLC handles projector installation in NYC for apartments, offices, and classrooms, on the ceiling or on a wall, including most Epson, BenQ, Optoma, Sony, and home-theater models. You tell us where the picture needs to land; we work out throw distance, mount plate, and anchors before anything gets drilled.

NYC ceilings are not all the same. Prewar plaster, a concrete slab in a postwar co-op, a drop ceiling in an office, and open joists in a walk-up each take different hardware, so we check yours and confirm the spot before committing to it. If your building wants a certificate of insurance before anyone goes up a ladder, we're insured and can send one.

Cables are what usually make a setup look amateur. We can route HDMI and low-voltage runs through raceways or an approved path when the room allows it, and we tell you up front if the only outlet is in the wrong place, since new outlets and moving power are electrical work done by a NYC Licensed Master Electrician. Once the mount is up we align the image using lens shift, zoom, and mount position, and test the picture before we leave.

Add the projector model, the mount model if you already have one, ceiling height, and the image size you want. That is usually enough to quote without anyone coming out.

If the room is complicated, high ceilings, an awkward throw distance, or a screen that isn't up yet, the $99 on-site assessment (plus sales tax) covers the visit and is credited toward approved work done within 30 days — longer when agreed in writing in advance. The $150 work minimum applies, and the work is quoted and approved before anyone drills, plus NY sales tax where applicable. Same-day scheduling is possible when the calendar allows.
