Floor repair covers loose boards, damaged vinyl or laminate sections, transition problems, squeaks, minor water damage, gaps, and areas where flooring lifted after furniture or appliance movement.
We inspect the visible surface and the reason it failed: moisture, subfloor movement, missing expansion gap, damaged locking edges, adhesive failure, or impact damage.
A repair is easiest when spare material is available. If you have leftover planks or tiles, send a photo of the label and the damaged area before scheduling.
If the floor failed because of moisture, a leaking appliance, an uneven subfloor, or a missing expansion gap, replacing only the top piece may not solve the problem. We explain whether a small patch is enough or whether the underlying cause needs to be corrected first.
For matching work, send wide photos from several angles, closeups of the damaged boards or tiles, the room size, and any spare material you have. Brand, thickness, wear layer, locking profile, gloss level, and plank width all affect whether a repair can blend cleanly.
Floor repair is also a good time to fix transition strips, loose quarter round, gaps at doorways, scratches from furniture moves, and small areas where the finished edge no longer looks intentional.
