Toilet replacement is priced by the model and by what the floor looks like once the old toilet is off. Standard round, elongated, comfort-height, dual-flush and skirted models are all on the list; smart toilets and bidet seats need an existing outlet in reach, so a photo of the wall behind the bowl matters. Prices below are labor; the toilet, wax ring or seal, bolts and supply line are yours or quoted separately.

What drives the price
- Model: skirted, one-piece and wall-hung toilets take longer to set and align than a standard two-piece.
- Flange and floor: a cracked flange or soft floor has to be addressed before the new toilet is set.
- Shut-off valve: a valve that does not close fully gets replaced first.
- Old toilet disposal: haul-away is quoted separately and depends on building rules.
- Smart toilets: need a grounded outlet within reach and sometimes a water filter line.
What's included
- Removing the old toilet and cleaning the flange
- Setting the new toilet with a fresh seal and bolts
- Connecting the supply line and testing for leaks
- Seat installation and flush test
What's quoted separately
- The toilet, seal, bolts and supply line — the parts themselves
- Shut-off valve replacement and old-toilet haul-away are included in the tiers that name them; on a straight swap they are quoted separately
- Bidet seat or smart toilet electrical accessories
When it's not a handyman job
- If photos show a cracked flange, a soft floor, a hidden leak, a stack issue or anything that means altering pipe, we say so before booking and point you to a Licensed Master Plumber.

Frequently asked questions
Can you install a smart toilet or bidet seat?
Yes, when there is a grounded outlet in reach. Send a photo of the wall behind the bowl and the model link.
Do you take the old toilet away?
Haul-away is quoted separately; some buildings require the super to handle bulk disposal.
What photos speed up the quote?
The existing toilet, the shut-off valve, the floor around the base and a link to the new model.
Is a wall-hung toilet a handyman job?
Replacing one on an existing carrier is. Installing a new in-wall carrier alters the plumbing and is a Licensed Master Plumber's job.
