This page outlines conditions related to our guarantees and promotional offers. These conditions are supplementary to our Terms of Service.

A. “24-Hour Installation or Free” Offer

Our promise to install your AC within 24 hours of booking confirmation (or the labor is free) is subject to the following conditions:

1) Eligibility

  • Standard Units Only: Applies to standard window AC units up to 12,000 BTU. Wall sleeves, through-the-wall units, or installations requiring complex bracket fabrication are excluded.
  • Standard Windows: Applies to standard double-hung windows accessible from the interior. Installations requiring exterior ladder access above the 1st floor or specialized scaffolding are excluded.
  • Location: Valid for residential addresses within our standard service zones in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.

2) Booking Requirements

  • Confirmation: The 24-hour clock begins only after you receive a written confirmation of your appointment slot from our team (not from the moment of inquiry submission).
  • Access: You must provide access to the property at the scheduled time. If our technician arrives and cannot enter, or if you reschedule, the guarantee is void.

3) Exclusions (Force Majeure)

The guarantee does not apply in cases of:

  • Severe Weather: heavy rain, storms, lightning, or high winds that make installation unsafe
  • Unforeseen Safety Hazards: rotted window frames, lack of structural support, or other pre-existing conditions that prevent safe installation
  • Holidays: bookings made on or for federal holidays

B. 1-Year Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If our workmanship fails, we will fix it at no labor charge within one (1) year.

What Is Covered

  • Defects in the installation or repair labor provided by Repair ASAP LLC technicians
  • Issues directly resulting from improper assembly or mounting techniques

What Is Not Covered

  • Materials & Parts: defects in the materials themselves (e.g., a faulty faucet, a TV mount that fails due to a manufacturing defect). We do not manufacture parts and cannot warranty them beyond the manufacturer’s terms.
  • Wear and Tear: normal degradation of surfaces or materials over time.
  • Misuse: damage caused by accidents, abuse, or use beyond intended capacity (e.g., hanging heavy items on a shelf rated for light loads).
  • Pre-existing Conditions: issues arising from old plumbing, crumbling drywall, or electrical wiring faults present before our service.

C. Service Fees & Minimums

  • Minimum Service Fee: We have a minimum charge for any on-site visit to cover travel and setup time. Please refer to your specific quote for details.
  • Cancellations: cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee (typically $50).
