Service Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Repair ASAP LLC. Below are the detailed service conditions and explanations for our promotional offers, guarantees, and service limitations. This page is designed to help our NYC clients understand what’s included in each offer or policy.


1. "24-Hour AC Installation – Or It’s Free"*

Applies to NYC window AC units only.

Terms:

  • The 24-hour period begins once your appointment is confirmed by our operator.
  • Applies to standard, accessible window installations booked Monday–Friday before 2 PM.
  • Does not apply if:
  • There are delays due to customer availability or building access.
  • The unit requires additional materials, mounting brackets, or electrical adjustments.
  • Installation is outside the five NYC boroughs (excluding the Bronx).

If we fail to install within 24 hours without a valid reason, labor is free — you only pay for materials (if any).


2. 1-Year Workmanship Guarantee

We guarantee all labor performed by Repair ASAP LLC technicians for 1 full year from the date of service.

This guarantee covers:

  • Poor workmanship (crooked shelves, loose fasteners, uneven caulk lines, etc.)
  • Rework of the original service if the issue reappears due to our installation.

This guarantee does NOT cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by third parties or clients.
  • Issues related to existing defects in walls, wiring, pipes, or fixtures.
  • Failure of parts or materials not provided by us.

3. Electrical Work – What We Do

We perform minor electrical repairs and installations, such as:

  • Replacing existing outlets and switches.
  • Installing light fixtures and ceiling fans.
  • Troubleshooting loose connections or faulty fixtures.

We do not:

  • Run new wiring inside walls.
  • Modify circuit breakers or panels.
  • Perform any work requiring a licensed NYC Master Electrician.

If needed, we will refer you to a licensed partner.


4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule.
  • Same-day cancellations may incur a fee (based on technician travel).
  • No-shows without notice may result in suspension of future service.

5. Payments & Stripe Fees

  • Payments are due upon service completion, unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept: Cash, Zelle, Check, or Card (Stripe).
  • Stripe payments may incur a 2.9% + $0.30 fee, which is passed to the customer.
  • You will always be informed of the total before any card charge is made.

6. Service Area

We serve:

  • All NYC boroughs except the Bronx.
  • Western Long Island (Queens-adjacent ZIPs only).

7. Materials & Tools

  • Clients may provide their own materials — we’re happy to install them.
  • We bring our own tools, hardware, and fasteners unless otherwise discussed.
  • If a part is missing or incompatible, we may help source it (fees apply).

8. Subcontractors

Some jobs may be performed by trusted subcontractors working under Repair ASAP LLC supervision. All subcontractors follow our quality and safety standards.
